How to create a good post

Creating a good post isn’t too hard, but you need someone to teach you.

Luckily for you, you’ve got a mentor. I’ve managed to create viral posts, which managed to get over 30 million views on X (former Twitter). Keep reading if you want to achieve similar results.

In today’s guide, you are going to learn how to create quality content, that everyone wants to read.

First, here is what we’ll be covering today:

What do people want?

In order to make your posts go vial, you need people to be interested in your topic. If you write about things no one cares, you are done.

Even if people are interested in a topic, for example marketing, and you are not original, you are not going to stand out, thus, people will have no reason to read your content.

Everyone is tired of reading the same content over and over again. Only quality content, presented in an appealing way, end up succeeding.

Parts of a post

Every post must follow the following structure, if you want it to go viral.

  1. Hook
  2. Introduction
  3. Main Body
  4. Conclusion

Each part is equally important, now we’ll deep dive into each of them, and learn how to perfect each one.

Hook

The hook is the most important of any post. It will decide whether people are going to read your content or not.

If people are not interested in your content within the first seconds, they are going to scroll away.

No matter how good your content is, if you don’t get people attention within the first seconds, they are not even going to read the rest of your post.

In order to create a good hook, you must:

Explain a problem, get people attention, and let them know you have a solution.

For a post, the hook must not be longer than a phrase. The shorter, the better.

Here is an example of a great hook:

“I made over $200,000 last year by selling a 20-page PDF.
Here is how I achieved it.”

Once you’ve read the hook, you must be intrigued and eagered to read the rest of the post.

Introduction

Here you need to explain what are you actually going to talk in the post.

You must also explain why your post is worth reading.

For example:

“This is the best moment to start writing PDF’s.
Here is what you need to do:
1. Write your ideas.
2. Elaborate on them.
3. Upload them to Gumroad.”

After reading the introduction you must know what the whole post is about, and have a clear idea, of what the post is about.

Main Body

Here is where you write the message you want to transmit.

You must make sure your posts are easy to read in order for everyone to be engaged with them, so that they don’t leave your post.

You must follow some simple steps, in order to make your posts more engaging.

  1. Make sure each segment of your thread is no longer than two posts.
  2. Write spaces between phrases, to make it more clear.
  3. Don’t make two long phrases, the longer the phrase, the harder to follow along.

With this simple steps, you are ready to write an appealing thread, that everyone wants to read.

Conclusion

Here is where you sum up everything you’ve already talked about.

This way the reader leaves knowing you’ve explained a lot, and it’s also easier for them to remember.

A good conclusion can be the difference between getting a new follower or not.

The key is living a meaningful impact, as well as a feeling of fulfillment.

For example, in this post, you can see Alex, made a great summary of everything he had already mentioned, so that everyone could remember with ease.

Conclusion:

In order to make a great thread or long post, you must follow these 4 simple steps: Hook, Introduction, Main Body and Conclusion.

This structure is essential for any sort of post, and it’s the best way to attain and retain user attention.

If you are writing a long post (like this one), a thread, a YouTube video or a TikTok, you must follow this simple steps.
